Haz Al-Din, usually referred to shorthand as Haz, is an entertainer, political theorist, and Marxist-Leninist who features as the most public representative of the Infrared Collective.

Early Life

Haz was born in 1996 in Detroit, Michigan to a family of Shia Lebanese immigrants.

Infrared Collective

In the Summer of 2020, Haz, alongside the rest of the Infrared collective launched the Infrared YouTube channel. The collective began as a private study group sometime around 2015, and made the ultimate decision in the Summer of 2020 to go public for the first time.

Livestreaming

While in the middle of law school, Haz reportedly became afflicted with chronic insomnia, which prevented him from being able to write, which was his preferred method of expressing his ideas.

During his law school's winter break in early 2021, he made the fateful decision to go live on the Infrared YouTube channel.
