Germany, officially the Federal Republic of Germany, is a country in Europe.

In 1933, following a catastrophic economic depression, the British-backed Nazi Party[1][2] came to power in order to prevent a Bolshevik-style communist seizure of power which would have threatened the interests of western Monopolists, Capitalists and Financiers.

After a rearmament period, Adolf Hitler invaded Poland in 1939, starting Word War 2.

In 1941 Germany invaded the Soviet Union with the goal of exterminating the slavic ethnic groups and conquer "living space" for german settlers. The Wehrmacht was defeated in the Great Patriotic War and Germany was split between the Western Allies and the Soviet Union.

In 1949 the western occupation zones unified and created the Federal Republic of Germany, making a reunification impossible. After this, the Soviets, who had previously suggested to create a neutral and unified German state, saw no other option than to create a second german state in the Soviet Occupation Zone. The German Democratic Republic was founded on the 7th of October 1949 effectively creating the first socialist state on german soil.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the GDR was annexed by the FRG, ending the first chapter of Socialism in Germany.

A 2022 poll found that German citizens are increasingly weary of supporting the US / NATO war against the Ukrainian coup regime.[3]
