Mecha-tankie is an aesthetic revolution and vibe shift pioneered by Haz Al-Din of Infrared in a 2022 stream.[1] In this stream, Haz Al-Din pointed to the phenomenon of workers who appear to own their means of production but in fact this is an exoskeleton which simply compounds their labor, making them comparable to mechas. This class of mecha-workers or exo-peasants (in reference to the Dutch farmers) which includes farmers who 'own' their tractors, heavy industry workers with their tools, and truckers is the revolutionary subject for the mecha-tankie. In the same stream, Haz Al-Din rejected the patsoc label and "civic patriotism" which is the institutional patriotism of social democracy. In contrast the mecha-tankie believes in material patriotism, the kind which is not reducible to a dead idea but is oriented toward the future. [1]

Mecha-tankies harness the destructive power of geology. As stated by Haz Al-Din:[1]
"We're going to unleash a volcano of revolutionary turmoil and chaos upon the lands of liberalism. We're going to open a vast chasm into the sacral heart of the land and we'll pour out the volcano eruptions."
In the same way that managerial parasites take for granted the mecha working class, green environmentalists take for granted the destructive power of geology to give birth to life as we know it. In rejection of the green agenda Yellowstone Socialists seek to accelerate the forces of climate change to unleash the forces of production on a planetary scale. The idea of finite oil is rejected for an abiotic theory of oil where deep geologic forces produce an infinite supply of oil. Yellowstone Socialism recognizes a terrestrial basis for an American patriotism which is volcanic and not confined to institutions. [1]
