Discontinuity

From InfraWiki
(Redirected from Discursive)

Discontinuity is the interruption of cyclical or perfect ("free") being. It is fundamentally synonymous with negative being, or mediation.

The symbol most closely associated with discontinuity is a circle which is incomplete– there is a break in the whole – a breach, which allows it's contents to seep out or outer content to seep in, mediating being.

Being which is cyclical is often called "recursive", while being which is mediated is "discursive".
