Chauvinism is a universal term meaning any instance in which one believes they are inherently superior to another person. This can be on any basis of categorization: we call racial chauvinism racism or racialism; sexual chauvinism is often termed male or female chauvinism, based on which sex is deemed superior; religious chauvinism pits one religion or religious sect against another as superior; class-based chauvinism deems one historically-constituted class inherently superior to another; social-chauvinism, or "socialism in words, chauvinism in deeds", refers to someone who calls themselves a socialist, yet participates in reactionary activities.
Infrared rejects all forms of chauvinism (except maybe duck supremacy).
