Arakcheyevshchina

Arakcheyevshchina or Arakcheyev regime refers to reactionary repression and censorship. It was named after Russian Tsarist general Arakcheyev.

Stalin accused the Soviet scientist Meshchaninov of setting one up in the field of linguistics in 1950.[1]
