The content of the form is the particularity of a given form. Content has a determinant wealth and reality of its own. The content is what is primary for a materialist, while an idealist places primacy on form.

For example: People can either be the content of a State which claims to represent them, or a Monarchical State which explicitly refuses to. [1]
