Christianity is a religion founded on the belief that Jesus Christ is both the Son of God and God Himself. Within this faith, Christians hold that Jesus is the long-awaited Messiah (the Christ) foretold in the Old Testament of the Bible. Christianity regards the Bible as its principal source of religious guidance. The Bible consists of two main sections: the Old Testament and New Testament
