Romanian Communist Party

The Romanian Communist Party (PCR) (Romanian: Partidul Comunist Român PCR) was a communist party in Romania. It was formed in 1921 after a split from the Socialist Party of Romania and what exited until Coup 1989, with many succesors after that year.

The party ruled Romania from 1947 to 1989
