A community of solidarity, most frequently referred to in the plural form communities of solidarity, is a concept promoted by Caleb Maupin of the Center for Political Innovation that the fundamental basis of a social revolution is small local-level communities that engage in solidarity actions, i.e. when the community comes together to help meet each members' material needs.
