Early Life
Haz was born in 1996 in Detroit, Michigan to a family of Shia Lebanese immigrants. He began studying Marxism when he was around 13 years old as an autodidact.
Infrared Collective
In the Summer of 2020, Haz, alongside the rest of the Infrared collective launched the Infrared YouTube channel. The collective began as a private study group sometime around 2015, and made the ultimate decision in the Summer of 2020 to go public for the first time.
Livestreaming
While in the middle of law school, Haz reportedly became afflicted with chronic insomnia, which prevented him from being able to write, which was his preferred method of expressing his ideas.
On January 21, 2021, during his law school's winter break, he made the fateful decision to go live on the Infrared YouTube channel.
Notable Debates
Debate with Neo Conservatives
The infamous 'Mongoloid' clip[2] originates from a debate with several Neo Conservatives, featuring a certain CANZCuck[3]. This resulted in a moment that would later in that same year go viral with the upload of Wow_Mao's video "I CAN BE WAY MORE RACIST THAN YOU."
Destiny
Haz was initially well disposed to Destiny. Compared to breadtube, Destiny seemed honest and consistent. Although closer to Infrared according to the "political spectrum," their presumed leftism what made Breadtube so perverse and grotesque. By contrast, Destiny's political positions seemed to follow from his logic and worldview. Moreover, whereas Breadtube actors like Vaush or SDL would lie and obfuscate for the sake of optics, Destiny seemed genuinely interested in dialogue. Their first three debates are remarkably cordial and respectful.
This changed dramatically with the advent of the SMO in February of 2022. A cloud of true enmity descended over twitch politics. Whipped to a frenzy by liberal media, liberal and leftist streamers became invested in the Ukrainian cause beyond all reason. Unequivocal support for Ukraine and NATO was demanded of all. Only Infrared, Jackson Hinkle, and a few others had the courage to oppose this development.
In a debate over the SMO, Jackson and Haz completely destroyed Destiny and Dylan Burns, who then resorted to name calling. However, these men were not prepared for what came next. Jackson had to leave and for hours they kept a relentless barrage of insults against Haz, who responded in kind. Destiny was at that time in a (since failed) open marriage. In short, this fact was brought to bear. Since then, Destiny has done everything in his power to blacklist Haz from the political streaming community.
