Alexandre Kojève is a French philosopher who is notable for his 1933 to 1939 lectures on the philosopher Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit. Here he famously laid great emphasis on the Master-Slave dialectic. He has been credited as an influence by Infrared, though Infrared has said that this is an overstatement, listing Bataille as a greater influence.

Some of his written works include:

  • Introduction to the Reading of Hegel
  • The Religious Metaphysics of Vladimir Solovyov
  • The notion of authority
  • Outline of a Phenomenology of Right
  • Kandinsky
