Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe which is being used by NATO as a forward operating base for anti-Russian activities.

In 2014, the United States led a coup against the government of Ukraine and installed a pro-Western government on the border of Russia, which led to the secession of the eastern regions of Donbass into the Lugansk People's Republic and the Donetsk People's Republic.

In 2022, Russia finally responded to the US-backed hostilities by Ukraine by sending in its military to liberate the Donbass regions and give the newly independent states full sovereignty against the NATO-trained-and-supported Ukrainian military. Kim Dotcom has argued that the seeds of this conflict were sewn by the 2008 Global Financial Crisis, which challenged the USD's status as a reserve currency.[1]
