Nazi-Maoism
Nazi-Maoism is a retarded LARP ideology — the 1960s-70s European current (Jean Thiriart, Franco Freda) where fascists put on Mao hats and pretended nationalism-with-red-aesthetics was a synthesis instead of a costume.
What it actually was
Guys who hated America and Zionism but also hated workers' power, so they stole leftist vocabulary ("use so-called leftist terminology, provided you modify its meaning" — their own instruction manual) and called it a new ideology. No class analysis, no workers' organization, no mass base — just terrorism, cults, and coffee-table theory about "Europe from Vladivostok to Dublin." It went nowhere because it was always going nowhere: strip the class content out of revolutionary politics and you have nothing but vibes and bombs.
Why Infrared keeps having to mention it
Because every liberal and every groypers' cousin reaches for it the moment patriotic socialism appears: "isn't this just Nazi-Maoism?" No. The distinction isn't subtle:
- Nazi-Maoism modified the meaning of leftist terms; MAGA Communism insists on the actual Marxist content — value theory, class, the party.
- Nazi-Maoism's nation was racial; this movement's nation is political-civilizational and multiethnic by composition.
- The test is organizational: who do you organize, against whom? Workers against finance-capital — or natives against strangers?
The temptation it represents is real, which is why it gets studied (Gottfried Feder is the same disease a generation earlier). But studying a retarded LARP doesn't make you one (Strasserism, Red-Fascism).
