Dasein is what we already are, and on the other hand it is an invitation for something that we can become, that we must have an essential transformation of the human being into Dasein.

Dasein or 'what it is to-be-in-the-world' is central to the existential philosophy of Martin Heidegger. According to Heidegger, Dasein represents a kind of foundation of human existence. Dasein is what we already are, and on the other hand it is an invitation for something that we can become, that we must have an essential transformation of the human being into Dasein.
