Fan Wennan is a Chinese concept artist who produces contemporary socialist realism. His works tend to include large architectural feats and communist symbols such as flags and insignias.[1] His original aesthetic has been called "People's Punk" before.
He was an interviewed guest in one of the early serialised Infrared Episodes.
Haz credits him as the primary inspiration for the early Infrared aesthetic and it's evolution into the Mecha-Tankie art movement, which has parallels to Fan Wennan's People's Punk in boths rendering and motifs.
