MAGACommunism is an opportunist and tailist online slogan that calls for the ideological unification of Marxists and the reactionary capitalist Trumpist movement that is promoted largely by Statesian patriotic socialists and other social-chauvinists. So-called "MAGA Communists" have promoted conspiracy theories, racism, and anti-Semitism in order to appeal to right-wing Christian nationalists.

Description

The slogan appeared in August 2022 on Twitter. Its most notable promoters are Jackson Hinkle and Infrared, whose rhetoric concerning this slogan has inspired a small online clique of "MAGACommunist" propaganists and trolls to emerge, largely from their respective followers.

While this clique is highly vocal, it has convinced very few people, and remains entirely internet-based. Their social media strategy is to spam content, no matter how nonsensical, to create virality through engagement and the illusion of popularity. It has yet to be organized in an actual political party or have its theory practiced.

MAGACommunism can be compared to Strasserism due to their mutual opposition to finance capital, "globalists," and their "pro-small business" stance which echoes Strasser's "guild socialism".

History

"Patriotic Socialists" aligned with Haz Al-Din openly revealed their true allegiance and views in mid 2022, declaring themselves to be in ideological unity with the Fascistic “Make American Great Again” (MAGA) movement, which is headed by the billionaire-capitalist Donald Trump. In their folly and open treachery to Marxism, they have further named themselves “MAGA Communists”.

Despite still identifying themselves as “Marxists”, “Communists”, “Stalinists”, etc., "MAGA Communists" have all but removed themselves from all aspects of Marxism and Stalinism, with them being in a state of total capitulation to the regressive forces of tailism and fascism. The propaganists of “MAGA Communism” do little more than combat all true Communists and other progressive and revolutionary forces, while at the same time, pledging their support for bourgeois figures such as Donald Trump. They tail the petite-bourgeoisie at any instance, with them spreading the most backwards, barbaric ideas ever known in a moribund attempt to attract support from larger reactionary forces; racism, anti-semitism, anti-intellectualism, homophobia, transphobia, and similar reactionary ideas.
