Libertarian Stalinism is a political alignment which posits that one of the potential revolutionary agents in the United States could be the Libertarian movement, considering their counter-hegemonic position against the current U.S. Government.[1] This is contrast to the current orientation of the revisionist CPUSA which tails behind the Democratic Party and the existing institutional hegemony.

This argument is made in the tradition of Leninism, which argues that “the working class cannot simply lay hold of the ready-made state machinery and wield it for its own purposes."[2]
