BreadTube is a group of online content creators, mostly YouTube channels and Twitch streamers, who claim to promote left-wing ideas (socialism, communism, anarchism) while still parroting certain pro-imperialist talking points. This contradiction has led to suspicion and inquiry into who's behind the BreadTube phenomenon.

Its name comes from Peter Kropotkin's The Conquest of Bread, which is ideologically anarcho-communist and is often used by so-called "anti-authoritarian" socialists. (who are nothing more than utopian socialists, as Engels famously described)

Author and journalist Caleb Maupin published Breadtube Serves Imperialism, which offers a critical look into the nature and background of BreadTube.
