Left-wing politics

Left-wing poliitcs in a historical sense refer to policies which advocate for a new political arrangement, in opposition to the status quo and the existing powers. However, in modern contexts, left-wing politics have been captured by the status quo itself, as can be seen with the Synthetic Left.
