Alexandre Kojève is a Russian émigré French philosopher notable for his 1933 to 1939 lectures on the philosopher Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit. Here he famously laid great emphasis on the Master-Slave dialectic. He has been credited as an influence by Infrared, though Infrared has said that this is an overstatement, listing Bataille as a greater influence. Some of his written works include: * Introduction to the Reading of Hegel * The Religious Metaphysics of Vladimir Solovyov * The Notion of Authority * Outline of a Phenomenology of Right * Kandinsky
