On Feb 2, 2023, [[NORAD]] announced that it was tracking a Chinese balloon which had entered North American airspace. The hysterical pro-war US media which has been promoting the New Cold War has been calling it a "surveillance balloon." China denies these accusations and has said "It is a civilian airship used for research, mainly meteorological, purposes.
