The Mongol Empire produced the universal state by establishing a definite universalism. Definite in the sense that the Mongol Empire laid claim to the whole world but more importantly was able to measure and account for this universality. Unique to the Mongol Empire and where the notion of Mongol Modernity arises was in the fact that the Mongol Empire was an empire of end times - a final universal abstraction of immediate social bonds. Before this modernity, precedent and indefinite universality saw common sociality expounded by a sublime state - the fundamental unity of people. Essentially these previous civilizations abstracted peoples ways of life into a common social substance in the form of a sublime state which would anchor the mode of production in order to reproduce these common social bonds. It is important to note the relation between economy and the fundamental unit of civilization as the etymology of economy is from the Greek word okionomia; the combination of oikos (house) and nemein (management). Where the Mongol Empire differs from this precedent and indefinite universality is that this abstraction of common sociality from its immediate social bonds was instantiated into the state itself; becoming a permanent abstract universality in regards to society.  Moreover the Mongol Empire used this basis of a final universal abstraction to measure and account for itself thus arriving at a definite universality which has both a beginning and end. It is from this definite universality which in where certainty arises and thus paving the way for the paradigm of the modern era.
