==Relationship to Infrared== Infrared was initially interested in collaborating with Maupin because on a superficial level they shared common ground on many issues. Both had similar foreign policy views and an acute awareness of many of the problems characterizing [[leftism]] in the United States. Infrared also appreciated that Caleb Maupin was among the first content creators to defend [[Actually Existing Socialism|AES]] in debates with [[BreadTube|Breadtubers]] and was paying the price of complete marginalization because of it. [[Haz Al-Din]] spoke at CPI's Austin conference in 2022 but only as a guest speaker with no formal affiliation to CPI at all. However beyond that, they have little in common. Despite this, many have erroneously lumped Infrared in with Caleb Maupin and his 'CPI' project, as though Infrared is somehow an extension of it. This cannot be further from the truth.
