The '''Poznan Protests''' in Poland in 1956 were a failed [[color revolution]] that grew out of workers' protests for higher wages. According to [[Wikipedia]], the workers were quickly joined by students and PMCs ("institutions"), who started smashing government offices.

The uprising was put down by [[Konstantin Rokossovsky]] and Polish-Soviet General Stanislav Poplasky.
